Skercle is for cold or warm, pre-cooked food. It should not be used in the oven, microwave or grill.

Skercle is for ages 1 year and above. Skercle is safer because its diameter is wider than traditional skewers and it is not sharp.. Skercle also closes into a circle when in use, so ends are fully enclosed. 

Younger eaters, particularly those who may still be getting used to finger foods, should always be monitored when using Skercle. Do not wear around the neck.

Skercle is available in 2 models with unique, ergonomic handles perfect for smaller fingers and hands Our tapered handle model has a slim, light-weight handle and our Rounded handle model has a larger handle for gripping, with a flattened base that can rest on any stable surface if desired. 

Skercle Signature models are available in our bold pink, teal and blue Skercle colors. Theme Skercles are geared towards holidays themes and other color options.

Unlatch the circle and thread food on as you would for a traditional skewer. Thread fruit, veggies, soft cheeses etc through their widest part for best results. Skercle is wider than traditional skewers, so if food is too thin, pieces may break as you thread. As you experiment you will soon see what sizing works best. Besides cutting food, melon ballers and cookie cutters also work well.

If Skercle gets wet and slippery from juice, we recommend holding a paper towel in one hand as you thread with the other.

Foods like whole grapes and hot dogs are considered choke foods by the American Academy of Pediatrics so cut these foods and all foods you are using on the Skercle.

After adding the food, close the circle, by pushing one end into the other end for a tight fit.

For the tapered handle, eat straight off the Skercle, using the attached handle. For the rounded handle model, slide the circle into the ridge located on the top of the rounded handle to attach the handle to the circle.. Eat straight of the Skercle. Enjoy! 

Skercle should be washed before first use and after use with hot water and mild detergents.

Skercle is also dishwasher safe (in top rack -max 149 F/65 C). This is equivalent to most normal dishwasher cycles.

Ensure Skercle is in its open position for a thorough cleaning. Ineffective washing may lead to bacteria/mold growth due to trapped food, posing health risks.

The tapered handle model is made from food grade Polypropylene. The Rounded handle is made from food grade Polypropylene, with the handle portion comprising food grade silicone. The logo/images printed on the silicone handle are made from food grade dyes.
